Vera tackled this guy this morning and brought it to me BEFORE I had my morning cup of coffee. A groundhog this size (or any) can be a somewhat formidable foe, but from what I could tell, Vera- then the rest of the gang- handled him well. So far, just in our yard, Vera has tackled birds, squirrels, cats, Opposum, gave a good chase to several raccoons, and now has had her very first groundhog. Did I mention I live in town?
