"Rio" (CH Windward's One Man's Dream X CH Tsuru-Tani-Nani Smartasawhip JH), a loved member of the Windward pack, passed away earlier this week. Rio was a superb counter-surfer and always knew when dinner was ready and when the dishwasher needed cleaning. I also believe that Rio is the one that taught Vera how to beg with her head resting on the table and the merits of drool. Rio finished his Championship easily, obtained his JH, and had a few wins towards his AFC before becoming a certified and dignified "Spoiled Weim." Rest in Peace, Rio. I'm sure there are plenty of deer, bunnies, birds, and squirrels to chase wherever you are.
